Brief Bio:
Dr. Cheryl Bracken is a scholar-administrator. As the Interim Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs and a Professor of Communication at Cleveland State University. She is a strong advocate for faculty governance and has experience at all levels of governance from the Faculty Senate to College Peer Review Committee to the Provost Office. Dr. Bracken has advocated for faculty development programs, including the CSU mentoring group.

Dr. Bracken is a scholar whose research focuses on the psychological processing of media. She has published more than 60 peer-reviewed publications and three books. Her most recent book, ¿Binge Watching: Motivations and Implications of Our Changing Viewing Behaviors,¿ was co-authored with Dr. Bridget Rubenking.
