Dr. Giuffre has taught full-time in Physical Therapy since 1999.  She joined the CSU DPT faculty on July 1, 2015 as the Program Director.  Her clinical experience has been diverse as she started in a large teaching hospital in 1992 working with patients with orthopedic, neurologic, vascular, cardiopulmonary, oncologic, and traumatic diagnoses.  She has also worked as a PT in home care (adult and pediatric), hospice, rehab and skilled-nursing settings.  In 1997, Dr. Giuffre pursued a position in pediatrics and this continues to be her area of clinical expertise.  Prior to joining the faculty at CSU, Dr. Giuffre was the Director of Clinical Education in a DPT program and has much experience in this area. Expertise in assisting students with the National Physical Therapy Exam (licensure exam) is noted in her work with TherapyEd and incorporated in her teaching. In 2019, Dr. Giuffre completed a fellowship with the American Physical Therapy Association in Educational Leadership.
