Brief Bio:
Dr. Isakin has received his Ph.D. degree in Economics and Finance from the University of Calgary. He also holds a BA (Honours) in Math from Perm State University and a MA (Honours) in Economics from the National Research University Higher School of Economics (HSE). He has worked as the Director of the Center of Applied Economics, a consulting department, at the HSE.
Dr. Isakin has one of his Ph.D. thesis papers published in Econometric Reviews (peer-reviewed journal) and several other papers published in peer-reviewed journals.  He has presented the results from his Ph.D. thesis at economics and finance conferences such as European Finance Association, Fixed Income and Financial Institutions, Canadian Economic Association.
