She received her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Georgia State University (GSU) and completed her internship at the GSU Counseling Center. Her research broadly focuses on addressing intersectional systems of oppression with an emphasis on antiracism and racial allyship dynamics from the perspective of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color.
