Brief Bio:
I was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and grew up in Guelph, Ontario with a one-year stint in Kingsville, Texas. I was an undergraduate student at the University of Guelph and a graduate student at the University of Toronto. Afterward, I spent two years as a postdoctoral fellow at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne, Switzerland (EPFL). I have been at Cleveland State since August 2005.
Research Interests:
* Combining statistical and topological ideas to study large data sets in biology, medicine and engineering
* Topological methods in the theory of concurrent and distributed computer systems
* Studying the topology of the configuration space of hard disks.
