| Brief Bio: |
| Before being appointed to the CSU faulty, Dr. Judge worked as a Research Scientist at the Margaret Blenkner Research Institute (MBRI) of the Benjamin Rose Institute on Aging in Cleveland, Ohio. In 2012, Dr. Judge received the researcher of the year award from the Ohio Association of Gerontology and Education (OAGE). |

| Research Interests: |
| Dr. Judge is interested in developing and testing psychosocial interventions for individuals with memory loss/dementia and their family caregivers. She also studies stress and coping processes of older adults who are living with memory loss/dementia and those who care for them. Dr. Judge¿s research has been funded by the Alzheimer¿s Association, the National Institute on Aging, the Veteran's Administration, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, and the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare. Grounded in a strength-based approach, several of these projects examine the efficacy of educational and cognitive rehabilitation interventions for individuals with mild to moderate dementia and their family caregivers. Another program of research, Partners in Dementia Care, extended findings from the Chronic Care Network for Alzheimer's Disease demonstration project and tested the effectiveness of a partnership model of care coordination designed to improve psychosocial, utilization, and cost outcomes for veterans with dementia and their family caregivers. |

| Teaching Areas: |
| Dr. Judge teaches in the Adult Development and Aging Ph.D. program at CSU. Course topics include Research and Thesis, Special Problems and Topics in Psychology, and Health Psychology in Later Life. She also teachers undergraduate courses in Introduction to Psychology, Health Psychology, Memory and Cognition, and Mental Health and Aging. |
