Brief Bio:
Jill Rudd, is a Professor in the School of Communication.  
Dr. Rudd helped form and advises a communication graduate student organization that participates in regional communication conventions. She was also part of the faculty development program in International Business Negotiations at Duke University in 2003.
Dr. Rudd has developed several courses in mediation, negotiation and intercultural negotiation that are currently offered at CSU.
Her area of focus is dispute resolution and is currently working on a study called Incarerated Parenting Communication which researches effective communication training for incarcerated mothers who are re-entering the family upon release. Dr. Rudd research interests include: communication skill deficiencies and the role of aggression, negotiation in intercultural settings, and managing conflict in organizational communication.
Her recent book "Communicating in Global Business Negotiations" was published (2007) with co-author Diana Lawson.

She is from Shelby, Ohio, and enjoys reading, skiing and cooking.
