Brief Bio:
Dr. France completed his Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology at Wright State University. He completed an APA-accredited predoctoral internship in professional psychology at the Hamilton Center, Inc. in Indiana, and he completed his postdoctoral training in Ohio. Dr. France is a licensed psychologist with experience in assessing and treating a wide range of mental disorders in adults, adolescents, and children. Prior to becoming a full-time faculty member at CSU, Dr. France worked at several behavioral health care settings and as a private psychologist.
Research Interests:
Dr. France is interested in schizophrenia, depression, training issues, and other mental disorders including autism and eating disorders.
Teaching Areas:
Dr. France teaches undergraduate courses in Introduction to Psychology, Childhood Development, Adolescent Psychology, Lifespan Development, Abnormal Psychology, Introduction to Clinical Psychology, Evaluating Psychological Research, and Psychology Laboratory. He also teaches graduate courses including Intellectual Assessment and Practicum and Individual Psychotherapy.
