Brief Bio:
After earning a Bachelors degree in Biology (which included an Honors Research thesis investigating solar tracking in Arctic poppies on Baffin Island in northern Canada) and a Ph.D. in Plant Ecology (Dissertation: Root responses to nutrient heterogeneity: a comparison of dominant and subordinate species from old fields), I knew that teaching Biology was my main interest and passion.  I joined the BGES department at CSU in Fall of 1998 as a part-time adjunct instructor.  In 2018, after 20 years of part-time teaching, I became a full-time lecturer.
